From 8 to 10 July, we met together with Cobb Europe for the annual ‘Distributor Conference’. This important meeting takes place alternately in the countries of the Cobb distributors: Great Britain, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. This year, we welcomed 25 participants from production, farms and hatcheries as well as consultants from Cobb Europe, first in Leipzig and then at our premises in Baasdorf.
The conference focussed on management topics, production and hatching trends as well as a benchmarking update. Particularly exciting were the planned genetic advances, which will not only improve production parameters but also secure the future of Cobb products. A highlight was the practical part on the quality of hatching eggs and fertilisation analysis. A European Championship football match at the public viewing offered an additional opportunity to round off the day in a cosy atmosphere on one evening of the conference.
We look forward to discussing innovative and pioneering topics again next year and to shaping the future of Cobb together with our partners and colleagues.

Vom 8. bis 10. Juli trafen wir uns gemeinsam mit Cobb Europe zur jährlichen „Distributor Conference“. Dieses bedeutende Treffen findet abwechselnd in den Ländern der Cobb-Distributoren statt: Großbritannien, Niederlande, Spanien und Deutschland. In diesem Jahr durften wir 25 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus den Bereichen Produktion, Farmen und Brütereien sowie Berater von Cobb Europe zunächst in Leipzig und dann bei uns in Baasdorf willkommen heißen.
Im Fokus der Konferenz standen Management-Themen, Produktions- und Schlupftrends sowie ein Benchmarking-Update. Besonders spannend waren die geplanten genetischen Fortschritte, die nicht nur die Produktionsparameter verbessern, sondern auch die Zukunft der Cobb-Produkte sichern werden. Ein Highlight war der praktische Teil zur Qualität von Bruteiern und Befruchtungsanalyse. Ein EM-Fußballspiel beim Public Viewing bot an einem Abend der Konferenz eine zusätzliche Gelegenheit, den Tag in gemütlicher Runde ausklingen zu lassen.
Wir freuen uns darauf, auch im nächsten Jahr wieder innovative und wegweisende Themen zu diskutieren und gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern und Kollegen die Zukunft von Cobb zu gestalten.
