A delegation from the Wimex Group, which includes Cobb Germany, travelled to Spain last week for the annual shareholders‘ meeting of Cobb Spain. Among the attendees were Ulrich Wagner, Leopold Graf von Drechsel, Gerhard Wagner, and Janick Wagner. A particular highlight of the meeting was the first opportunity to meet Shelby Watkins in person, the new President of Cobb Genetics. As part of the international Cobb family – which also includes Cobb Germany – it was a special pleasure for our company representatives to welcome Shelby Watkins on his first visit to Europe.
The meeting focused on in-depth discussions about forward-looking strategies and the presentation of Cobb Genetics’ current breeding programmes. In addition, Shelby Watkins was able to gain first-hand impressions of the daily operations and commitment of the teams on site during his visits to the facilities, farms, and hatchery of Cobb Spain. Leopold Graf von Drechsel emphasised: “Once again, this meeting demonstrated just how important close cooperation within the international Cobb family is. It gave us a very positive and optimistic outlook for the future development of Cobb Genetics and our broader collaboration.”

Eine Delegation der Wimex Group, zu der auch Cobb Germany gehört, reiste vergangene Woche zur jährlichen Gesellschafterversammlung von Cobb Spain nach Spanien. Mit dabei waren Ulrich Wagner, Leopold Graf von Drechsel, Gerhard Wagner und Janick Wagner. Ein besonderes Highlight des Treffens war das erste persönliche Kennenlernen des neuen Präsidenten von Cobb Genetics, Shelby Watkins. Als Teil der internationalen Cobb Familie, zu der auch Cobb Germany gehört, war es für unsere Unternehmensvertreter eine besondere Freude, Shelby Watkins auf seiner ersten Europareise willkommen zu heißen.
Im Mittelpunkt der Versammlung stand der intensive Austausch über zukunftsweisende Strategien und die Vorstellung der aktuellen Zuchtprogramme der Cobb-Genetik. Darüber hinaus konnte sich Shelby Watkins bei der Besichtigung des Betriebs, der Farmen und der Brüterei von Cobb Spain ein Bild von der täglichen Arbeit und dem Engagement der Teams vor Ort machen. Leopold Graf von Drechsel betonte: „Das Treffen hat wieder einmal gezeigt, wie wichtig der enge Austausch innerhalb der internationalen Cobb Familie ist. Es hat uns einen sehr positiven und optimistischen Ausblick auf die zukünftige Entwicklung von Cobb Genetics und der gesamten Zusammenarbeit gegeben.“
